Casey Spira, a three-time Emmy nominee, has been producing iconic television for over 30 years, including live television, comedy specials, holiday specials, late night comedy, talk and non-scripted series.
For seven years, Spira co-executive produced NBC’s New Year’s Live from Times Square in New York, featuring A-List talent such as Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Tony Bennett, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. Spira produced Red Nose Day for three years as a live special from New York and Los Angeles in partnership with Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Bridget Jones Diary, Mamma Mia and Four Weddings and a Funeral), featuring Julia Roberts, Ed Sheeran, Ben Affleck, Anne Hathaway and Olivia Munn. In 2016, Spira produced the Emmy nominated Tribute to James Burrows for NBC that included the cast of Friends, Cheers, Frasier, and more.
Over the last 15 years, Spira has produced over a 135 comedy specials for Netflix, Prime, HBO and Comedy Central starring leading comedic talent such as Adam Sandler, Ali Wong (Single Lady, nominated in 2025 for Outstanding Variety Special), Jim Jefferies, Norm MacDonald, (Nothing Special, nominated in 2022 for Outstanding Variety Special) Tracy Morgan, John Mulaney, David Letterman, Seth Meyers, Hannah Gadsby (Douglas, nominated in 2020 for Outstanding Variety Special) and Nate Bargatze, among many others.
From 2019-2020 Spira executive produced A Little Late with Lilly Singh, 120 episode late night comedy show for NBC. That show featured revolving major talent and comedic sketches. Spira worked with Paul Reiser in producing 150 comedy episodes entitled Love Bites for TBS, shot and edited in Toronto, and produced 175 episodes of a talk show, The Robert Irvine Show, for Tribune Entertainment. Spira has also produced a variety of non-scripted series as well.
